The Birth Of BMW 4 series

The 4 Series serves as the replacement for the two-door versions of the BMW 3 series, just as the upcoming 2 Series will effectively be the new version of the 1 Series coupe and convertible.
The 4 series is also wider that the 3 series.It will be available in two versions : Coupe and Convertible.

All Coupe variants will begin production in Munich, Germany, this July, and will be produced for the 2014 model year through June of 2014.Convertible 4 series will be assembled in Regensburg, Germany, with production beginning in November and ending in July of 2014.
It has been reported that the 4-Series Coupe will be offered with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, in 428i, 428xi, 435i and 435xi forms. All 428i models will get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, rated at 240 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque, while 435i cars will get a turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six rated at 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
